5 Key Benefits Of Drinking CBD Water

CBD is getting loads of attention today mainly due to its incredible benefits. Products such as tinctures, capsules, and vapes are already popular on the market. But what about CBD water? What’s that all about? CBD water uses nanotechnology to create a one of a kind CBD delivery method. Let’s look at what CBD water is and discuss five of its major benefits: bioavailability, delivery time, taste, convenience, and hydration.

What Exactly is CBD Water?

CBD, or cannabidiol, is a chemical compound that manufacturers extract from the cannabis plant, specifically hemp. Hemp has many important uses in today’s industrial world, but more importantly, it is an excellent source of an incredibly effective compound.

CBD comes in many forms, including tinctures, vaporizers, edibles, capsules, and creams.

Although, one of the newest ways of getting a dose of CBD is through drinking water. That’s right. We’re talking about the ordinary water you drink every day. Of course, it’s still simple to take CBD oil or capsules and call it a day, but the cool part about CBD water is that you’re not only getting your dose of CBD, but you’re also replenishing your body’s fluids.

CBD water is made by combining CBD nanoparticles with water. Although CBD oil itself is not water-soluble, science achieves its compatibility through nanotechnology.

Nanoemulsions of CBD in water make the mixture appear as if it is a perfectly homogeneous mixture. In other words, it looks just like plain water. When you combine CBD with water you create a drink that works with your body as no other drink can.

5 Key Benefits of CBD Water Are:

 1. Bioavailability

What is bioavailability? Bioavailability is the amount of a chemical compound that actually has an effect in proportion to the total amount that enters the body. CBD is an oil-based compound, meaning it does not mix with water. Given that our bodies are mostly of water, you can see how CBD bioavailability is already an issue.

When we ingest CBD oil orally, it’s typically either as capsules, edibles, or oral tinctures. Let’s take a capsule, for example. When you swallow a capsule it ends up in your stomach. Oral consumption is the most complex method amongst the various CBD products and requires the most time for the CBD to take effect. In fact, each method of CBD delivery can take a different amount of time to feel the effects.

When CBD gets absorbed into the blood from the stomach, some of it is destroyed and lost in the process. In addition, the CBD is likely to pass through the liver and get broken down before reaching its sites of action, since the liver is so close to the stomach.

These metabolic processes drastically reduce the bioavailability of CBD. However, the most concerning factor regarding bioavailability is the fact that CBD is oil-based. Because of this, it does not transport through the blood efficiently, and as a result, it can take a long time to feel the effects.

Nanoemulsions of CBD greatly increase the surface area of the particles as they are dispersed throughout the water. With a larger spread, the bioavailability of CBD significantly increases. CBD water can offer up to ten times the bioavailability of CBD compared to traditional CBD oil products.

What this translates to is that you do not need a high dose of CBD in the water to feel its effects. For example, in theory, you should get the same effects from a 10 mg CBD water as you would from a 100 mg dose in tincture form. With CBD water, less is more.

2. Fast Acting

Another benefit of CBD water is that it can move through your body quicker than other CBD products. Thanks to nanotechnology, CBD can be emulsified with water. With a reduction in particle size, the CBD acts as a water-soluble compound. This form of CBD can readily enter the bloodstream and travel to cannabinoid receptors faster.

The faster it reaches the receptors, the sooner you start to feel the effects. Contrastingly, traditional CBD oil products have a relatively delayed onset of action due to the oil-water incompatibility. “Onset of action” refers to the time from when you administer something to the time you feel its effects.

Cannabinoid receptors are a class of membrane receptors, meaning that they are located on the cell’s surface. Typically, water-soluble molecules that travel freely in the bloodstream bind to these types of receptors. The water-compatible CBD in CBD water can efficiently bind to these membrane cannabinoid receptors and as a result, produce effects quickly.

3. Tastes Better

CBD oil does not necessarily have a desirable taste, at least for most people. It has a certain earthy taste to it that some people may enjoy while most others will not. This issue obviously comes up when dealing with CBD oil tinctures because it requires you to drop CBD oil right into your mouth. Although these tinctures are diluted with carrier oils like coconut or hemp seed oil, they are still relatively concentrated compared to CBD water.

CBD water contains up to ten times less CBD than a traditional dose of CBD oil. This is simply because it is so efficient at absorbing into the bloodstream so it can then work with our endocannabinoid system (ECS). The CBD is highly spread out in the form of nanoparticles and is a very dilute mixture as well. That being said, the taste of CBD is almost nonexistent. Some even say that CBD water tastes better and smoother than regular water.

 4. Convenience

One of the best perks of CBD water is that it is convenient. Wherever you go, you can take it with you, whether it be to a hike, to the office, or to the gym. It’s just like a regular water bottle–it’s simple, clean, and doesn’t draw any attention.

Along with being great for on-the-go purposes, CBD water also acts fast. It’s not only convenient to carry around with you everywhere but whenever you need a dose of CBD you can just take a sip and feel the effects quickly.

 5. Hydrating

CBD water serves a dual purpose: It efficiently provides your body with CBD and hydrates you at the same time. This can be highly useful for athletes, especially, because they need constant hydration from all the sweating. The CBD part comes in next when their muscles are sore and tense from previous activities.

CBD may help ease sore muscles. This specifically applies to athletes, who constantly undergo strenuous exercise and put their muscles through a lot of stress. Overworking the muscles can damage them and result in muscle soreness. With CBD water, athletes may reduce soreness, allowing better recovery, which will allow them to get back in the game at their peak physical condition.

Conclusion

CBD water is a fairly new product that is steadily gaining attention. It introduces an entirely new way of administering CBD, and it does that very efficiently compared to traditional CBD oil. CBD water offers higher bioavailability, faster absorption, better taste, and greater convenience. Although it might be a bit pricier than other CBD products, you may need to give it a try to see for yourself whether it’s the real deal!

Shrooms: Their Species and Effects

The special properties of the mushroom pulp of some species have been known since ancient times. In the Aztec Empire, in the cities-states of the Maya, in the Chukchi Chumas, in the ancient Greek polities and Viking settlements, they knew well what hallucinogenic mushrooms look like, which were traditionally used to achieve altered states of consciousness. Priests and shamans especially often used such psychedelic practices. At the present time, studies have been conducted on the components involved, the side effects of hallucinogenic mushrooms and the consequences of their use have been determined.

Types of magic mushrooms

Magic mushroom dispensary includes representatives of the fly agaric family and a number of laminae species containing psilocin and psilocybin. They are grouped under the category “psilocybin mushrooms” on this basis.

Psilocybe. 115 species of this genus of mushrooms contain hallucinogenic substances. Under natural conditions, they grow primarily in Central America, in open grassy areas, especially in manured pastures. The most researched psilocybe Cuban grows well under greenhouse conditions, retaining a pronounced psychoactivity. You can buy dried shrooms online.

Fibers. Five species of these mushrooms, mostly deadly poisonous and difficult to identify, contain psilocybin. Only the blue-green fiber mushroom, which grows on the sandy soils of midland forests and parks from June through October, has not been found to be poisonous.

Gymnopilus. 14 species of inedible mushrooms with very bitter flesh contain, along with psilocybin, active substances with an intoxicating effect. Gymnopilus grow on stumps and deadwood of conifers. Fruits in the summer and fall.

Paneolus. These psilocybin mushrooms are inedible and mature from April to December in fertile manured soils, often directly in manure. The concentration of psilocybin and thus the hallucinogenic activity of these mushrooms ranges from low to medium.

Effects

Psilocin and psilocybin shroom microdosing have a short delay after consumption, lasting from 15-20 minutes to 2 hours. There is a characteristic wave-like tingling sensation throughout the body, there is a feeling of dizziness, anxiety, heightened perception of sound, taste, color, and light, distorted sense of space, time, movement, changing the usual picture of the world, the phenomenon of “going out of the body” is noted.

The general emotional tone of the experiences that these hallucinogenic mushrooms cause strongly depends on personal qualities and preconceptions. In the positive version, euphoria, a feeling of liberation and flight, and erotic attraction develop. Colors gain brightness, and hallucinations become unprecedentedly colorful. The negative psychedelic experience is associated with fits of rage, unbearable craving for violence, aggression, including against oneself, up to and including murder and suicide, paranoid delirium, and loss of consciousness. This is a state of unbearably severe nightmare from which it is impossible to escape of one’s own will until the effect of the mushroom hallucinogen is over.

The researchers note that psilocybin mushrooms are “strikingly non-toxic,” but their active ingredients, as laboratory experiments on animals have shown, can destroy the membranes of neurons.

Consequences of use

Consumption of fly agaric mushrooms, along with their hallucinogenic effects, causes severe poisoning with severe symptoms and long-term consequences, which are expressed in significantly reducing blood clotting and nervous system disorders. Neurotoxin is not only muscarinic but also active hallucinogens – ibotenic acid and muscimol.

Psilocybin mushrooms have unpredictable effects – one cannot guarantee in advance only a positive emotional experience. At the same time, careful and well-controlled clinical trials that began in the 1950s and 1970s have shown that psilocybin provides positive results in the complex treatment of depression, anxiety disorders, and addiction and also provides relief in the final stages of cancer. At the same time, euphoric experiences can lead to “psilocybin” addiction, and in large quantities, the substance negatively affects brain function.

How To Use Cannabis Tinctures

First off – let’s talk “tinctures.” Tinctures are medications dissolved in a liquid. Many cannabis users imbibe via tinctures because they’re easy to take and dose. Plus, users don’t have to worry about the smell, and they receive the benefits of cannabis without having to smoke. What’s more, there are even some benefits to using tinctures vs edibles. A tincture of cannabinoids is often used to help with everyday concerns like stress, sleep trouble, discomfort, and low appetite, among other issues. Keep reading for a deeper look into how to use cannabis tinctures.

What Is Cannabis Tincture?

Tincture is a liquid base with some kind of herb dissolved into it. Humans have used tinctures for thousands of years, and the practice runs back to the time of ancient Egypt. While some tinctures include alcohol as an ingredient, not all of them do. Instead, many use some kind of oil as a medium.

How to Use Cannabis Tinctures

A cannabis tincture comes in a small bottle with an eyedropper tool. Usually, the dropper tool comes marked with milliliter measurements. As a result, it’s incredibly easy to use. Just measure the amount of tincture of cannabinoids you want to use and drop it into your mouth.

Tinctures are incredibly versatile, and offer two main routes of administration.

First, you can swallow tincture to absorb it through your digestive tract. This makes it function like a typical edible. Or, you can apply tincture directly beneath your tongue. Your body has a high concentration of blood vessels in this area, and the skin here is extremely thin. As a result, your body can absorb the tincture of cannabinoids directly into your blood. This second method is known as sublingual dosing.

How To Get Started With a THC Tincture Dose

Many people consume 1 milliliter (a full dropper) at a time, putting the dose under their tongue for 15 to 20 seconds. Your dosage amount may vary depending on your weight and the severity of your concerns. The under-the-tongue method allows your bloodstream to directly absorb cannabinoids, and the tincture has a nearly immediate effect on your body. To maximize the effects, wait at least 15 minutes to eat or drink anything.

Over time, the alcohol in some tinctures can lead to irritation. If you do not like the taste of alcohol, try diluting the tincture of cannabis in a small amount of water or juice. Fortunately, the possible irritation and potentially unpleasant taste are generally the only downsides to cannabis tinctures.

Some people prefer to add their tinctures to meals or snacks via sauces, soups, salad dressings or sherbets. Similarly, you can add one or two droppers’ worth of tincture to a glass of water. That turns the water into tea. These methods are not as instantaneous as the under-the-tongue approach, but they work. The timeframe with orally-consumed cannabis tinctures is akin to that of regular edibles. The effects take longer to kick in, but they can last for hours.

The bottom line is that tinctures offer you choice. If you need instant relief, dose under your tongue. If you prefer for the effects to last a while and do not need immediate relief, take your dose with food or liquid.

DELTA 8 CART LAST?

 The Elements Used

Delta-8 carts are manufactured using various elements to improve taste, effectiveness, and durability. However, these elements determine the Delta-8 cart’s durability. Consider vape carts with organic ingredients to avoid chemical reactions that would lessen their shelf-life. Confirming the elements before storing your Delta-8 cart for more than five months is always prudent.

Purity Levels

If you are concerned about the shelf-life of your delta-8 cart, its purity is an important factor to consider. It might not be wise to rely on the purity levels posted on the labels since they could be misleading. The most effective way of affirming the purity levels is by accessing the COA’s report. Avoid Delta-8 pens with chemical solvents and heavy metals since their reaction can make them go bad faster than you thought.

How To Store Your Delta-8 Cart Correctly

To make your delta 8 cart last long, store them in the following ways;

Away From Light

Most people store their Delta-8 carts near windows, which isn’t safe at all. Trofin et al. (2012) noted that too much light, especially from the sun, might heat your vape, degrading its quality, potency levels, and shelf-life. This also applies to artificial light. If you are storing your cart in the fridge, avoid keeping it near the door, especially if it is for frequent use. The safest place to store your Delta-8 vape cart is somewhere dark.

Keep It Away From Heat

Confirm that where you have stored, your Delta-8 cart is away from household electronics. As mentioned, exposing your cart to too much heat degrades its quality levels and shelf life. Heat shifts the chemical formulation of most elements. This also has an impact on the potency levels, as suggested by Weednews (2022).

Where To Keep Your Delta-8 Cart

Some of the safest places to store your carts are;

In Cool and Dry Places

Extreme temperatures affect the quality of your Delta-8 vape cart. Too much heat or extremely low temperatures leads to the deformation of chemical compounds. Keeping your Delta-8 cart in extremely cold and open conditions can attract mold. Besides, as noted easier, extremely hot conditions lead to chemical compound deformations, lowering effectiveness and potency levels or shelf-life.

Keep it Air Tight Containers

Ensure you close your vape cart after taking several hits. Benhaim (2003) concluded that leaving cannabis products open results in the interaction of the cart with oxygen. This results in oxidation which alters the chemical formulation lowering its shelf-life. Delta-8 carts have lids that should be tightly closed after each vaping lowering interaction with the air.

How Do I Determine The Best Delta-8 Cart?

If you wish to make Delta-8 effective for therapeutic or recreational use, there are various factors to consider while choosing the best. Some of the tips to use in the market are;

COA’s Report

Avoid Delta-8 vapes without COA’s report since they are likely to be contaminated. If you buy from the nearest store, always scan the QR codes on the packaging, ensuring you can access them. If the brand has made them accessible, check the following two things;

Potency Levels

Various hemp-based producers have been offering wrong potency levels on their labels. This puts their customers at a higher risk of overdosing on THC. The FDA has conflicted with such brands since they don’t consider customers’ safety. Avoid Delta-8 manufacturers that constantly receive warnings from the FDA since such brands are even likely to lie about the ingredients. As a result, you might abuse marijuana rather than take a hemp-based Delta-8 cart. If the potency variance exceeds 10%, avoid them.

Purity Levels

Delta-8 is likely to be contaminated at the extraction or processing stage. The most recommended method of obtaining THC crude oil from organic hemp is by CO2. Unlike ethanol exposing your extracts to chemical solvents, CO2 minimizes the chances of contamination of Delta-8 cart and the environment, as suggested by Todd Giuseppe (2022).

Although you might successfully extract THC without contamination, the processing stage is critical. Processing of Delta-8 vape juice involves chemicals and heavy metals that risk contamination. At this stage, chemical solvents and heavy metals can get into the products. You wouldn’t wish to consume either for your safety. To ensure you are avoiding them, always confirm the actual purity levels from the lab results.

The Importance of Slow and Fast Release Nutrients

Organic nutrients come in many forms. Each one provides unique benefits to your plants and breaks down at a different rate. If you grow organic, you’ll be happy to know that is made up of a combination of fast- and slow-release nutrients, so your plants will have access to essential food over an optimal span of time, rather than using it all at once and risking nutrient burn.

So what’s the difference between fast-release and slow-release nutrients, and how do they affect your plants? Let’s take a look!

Fast-Release Nutrients

Fast-release nutrients are available immediately to the plant and are incredibly vital for early growth.

Quick-release nitrogen and phosphorus encourage rapid green growth and root development. Blood meal, feather meal, bat guano, fish protein hydrolysate, and alfalfa meal are Geoflora’s primary sources of fast-release nitrogen, allowing your plants to uptake vital nutrients for stem, stalk, and canopy growth almost immediately after top-dressing and watering in. Bat guano also features quick-release phosphorus to aid in photosynthesis and root development.

Slow-Release Nutrients

Slow-release fertilizers allow plants to use nutrients when they need them, breaking down ingredients over time.

Geoflora’s slow-release nutrients include feather meal and crustacean meal for nitrogen, and bone meal, crustacean meal, and bat guano for phosphorus, allowing your crop to have access to multiple sources of each nutrient at all stages of the growth cycle.

12 Tips for Sprouting Cannabis Seeds

Every tiny cannabis seed represents a potential pound of cannabis flower. It’s crazy to think that so much abundance springs forth from such a small thing.

Simply follow these basic tips for germinating your seeds and planting them in soil.

  1. Look for viable, plump seeds with a telltale “tiger stripe” on the side that indicates maturity. Larger seeds tend to yield more vigorous and hardy plants.
  2. Plant at least 12 seeds, knowing that 50% of them could turn out to be male plants, which you don’t want. You can also purchase feminized seeds, a bit more pricey than regular seeds, but then you will have female plants. Only female cannabis plants create the resinous flowers that we desire. Choose the most vigorous plants to keep and if you end up with more than 6 female plants, you can juice them or eat them in a salad for a burst of phyto-nutrition.
  3. Begin germinating by soaking a paper towel in water and lightly wringing it out. You want the towel to be thoroughly soaked but not dripping.
  4. Place your cannabis seeds on the paper towel, and fold it over the seeds. Place towel in a plastic bag. Exhale some air into the bag and seal it.
  5. Keep the seeds warm at 75 to 85 degrees Fahrenheit for a proper incubation time. Find a warm place on top of a fridge, on a sunny windowsill, or on a seed mat or heating pad. Within 48 hours a taproot will break through the seed casing. Plant your seeds in soil at the first sign of a taproot.
  6. Prepare a one-gallon pot with a light seedling soil mix. Fox Farm Ocean Forest or Black Gold also work great If you’d like to add worm castings, you can do so in a ratio of 4 parts soil to one part worm castings.
  7. Water the soil before planting the seeds, getting it wet but not soaking.
  8. Using a chopstick, make a hole 1/2 – 3/4 inch below the surface, using rubber gloves very carefully place the seed in the hole taproot pointing down. Cover the seed with dirt.
  9. Avoid pouring water over the newly planted seed, since this can disturb its placement. You can carefully pour just 1 – 2 tablespoons of water over the top if desired. Place seeds under a good light source and keep them warm. After another 48 hours, a sprout should emerge!
  10. Maintain the seedlings in a sunny window, cold frame or greenhouse. As long as temperatures are between 60 – 80ºF, the seedlings will be fine. Dipping below 50ºF at night can slow growth, so you may want to bring the fragile plants inside in the evenings until they are hardier.
  11. Your juvenile plants will be fine in their 1 gallon pot for the next 4 – 5 weeks of growth. Water moderately every day until moist but not soaking.
  12. Spend time every day observing your plants, and this attentiveness is the best way to catch problems before they start.

Choosing Cannabis Seeds

Cannabis is well known for the effects it produces when consumed, but few know where the high comes from—and even fewer know how to ensure that they’re smoking the highest quality buds possible.

Growing a great crop starts with picking the right seeds. To do so, you’ll need an in-depth understanding of how to grow cannabis and which genetics are best. When a season or a strain performs better than expected, many growers set aside some seeds so they can replicate their success later. In this guide, we’ll explain how to choose seeds based on THC content and genetics.

THC: What Is It and Why Is It Important?

Also known as tetrahydrocannabinol, THC is the compound in cannabis that produces its well-known psychoactive effects. When a smoker feels high after lighting up, they have THC to thank.

THC is one of hundreds of known cannabinoids, which are chemicals that work within the endocannabinoid system or ECS. By attaching to certain receptors in the brain and nervous system, THC activates the neurons that affect time perception, coordination, pleasure, thinking, and memory.

Anecdotal evidence and scientific research suggest that tetrahydrocannabinol may work to treat various medical conditions. And, from a recreational user’s point of view, THC brings a sense of well-being, euphoria, and relaxation.

Considering Genetics When Selecting Seeds: Why It Matters

Reputable seed banks produce seeds only after the mother plant has been stabilized—and they inspect the seeds after harvest, looking for any defects. This process is time-consuming, but it helps to ensure that customers get the highest quality cannabis seeds that exhibit beneficial traits such as effects, potency, fragrance, and flavor.

Apart from seed quality, selecting the right cannabis strain is of primary importance. We offer options such as:

  • American seeds
  • High-THC seeds

With hundreds of strains to choose from, such as the award-winning varieties found on weed-seeds.com, you’re sure to find a strain that provides the effects you’re looking for.

Unlike buying vape pens, edibles, flower, or other cannabis products, you have control over the environment when growing a home crop. If you’re cultivating a cannabis crop under less-than-ideal conditions, consider selecting a strain that’s resilient and simple to grow. Choosing the best seed genetics ensures that your plants will reach their full potential—and that you grow a healthy, delicious crop.

Selecting the Right Cannabis Species

There are two main types of cannabis: indica and sativa. If you’re after a relaxing, mellow high, pick an indica strain that’s high in THC; if you want an uplifting feeling, go with a sativa strain. Most seeds on the market today are hybrids—which combine indica and sativa traits. While some hybrids are evenly balanced, others are indica- or sativa-dominant.

Sativa plants are usually thin and tall. They take longer to mature, with a flowering phase that lasts 10 to 16 seeks. For instance, a Purple Thai seed can take 13 weeks to reach maturity after you’ve switched to a 12/12 light cycle. While you’ll have to wait longer for these plants to mature, you’ll reap the benefits of a higher yield.

On the other hand, indica plants are bushy and compact, so you don’t need as much vertical area to grow a healthy crop. Though indica yields are typically lower than those of sativas, the buds can be equally potent and the effects just as relaxing. Strains such as Hindu Kush melt away the tensions of the day and induce a feeling of pure relaxation.
